在啟動(dòng)之前，應(yīng)先用水灌滿泵殼和進(jìn)水管，然后驅(qū)動(dòng)電機(jī)，使葉輪和葉輪中的水做高速旋轉(zhuǎn)運(yùn)動(dòng)，此時(shí)，水受到離心力作用被甩出葉輪，經(jīng)泵殼的流通而流入水泵的出口，再由出口流人到出水管道;與此同時(shí)，水泵葉輪中心處由于水被甩出而形成真空，進(jìn)水池中的水在外界大氣壓作用下，沿進(jìn)水管流人葉輪進(jìn)口;由于葉輪的不斷旋轉(zhuǎn)，水就源源不斷地甩出和吸人，形成連續(xù)的揚(yáng)水作用。
